Kitten feeling better.

Last night we looked at Kitten's teeth again and noticed that of the itty bitty teeth she had in the front top part of her mouth, Kitten only had 2. The other 3 or 4 must have fallen out from the trauma that happened last weekend. It looks funny. She kinda looks like a bunny.

Kitten is feeling better though. She and we have had a hard couple months. Last month she witnessed our beloved Zero get run over in front of our house. She then went through weeks of depression. After which her friend Boots, a tuxedo cat we tried to befriend, went missing. His family either moved away or they gave him away.

These pictures made me feel happy. It looks like she was romping around in the wilderness of Oakland. Check it out folks!

Fun in the sun! 4/25/08

I love California! And I know that Kitten does as well. Don't you think its funny that cats love to sun themselves. They have fur coats aren't they hot. Well Kitten loves to Sun bathe. Her favorite thing to do is roll around on her back in the sun.
While yes, very cute, she can never stay white. She's always dusty and slightly brown.

Did you guys know that you have to put sun block on white dogs and cats. I have to buy her more sunblock.

hey! that's a dude!

ok. we finally got a human up in this blog. we were starting to think that while we're at work the neighborhood becomes a private kitty club. we don't know what the legality on this sort of thing is, but we doubt even this guy's mother could identify him from the photo so we're not too worried. seems like meaty might have gotten over her wariness a bit today too since she got all up in some places that we have never, ever seen.

ok. yeah. i know, i'm gonna get rid of that damn red truck... jeez.


if you squint real hard you can see meaty's kitty lover through the window. he just got out of the shower and everything.


is it just me or does this dude look like he's involved in a very serious discussion with a cat? arguing the finer points of seafood perhaps? too bad about that salmon shortage...


kitten may be literally on the fence, but don't worry people, she voted for obama in the primaries.

Adventure or monotony? 4/22/08

Maybe it was the mishap that occurred late Saturday and Early Sunday or maybe its just what this stray cat turned family pet does everyday, but we are seeing a real pattern.

Update on the Kittenator! 4-21-08

We noticed yesterday that Kitten had more than just a scratch on her face. We opened her mouth to find that her canine (feline) tooth was cracked off and a bunch of little teeth were loose and her gums where very tender. It appeared as if Kitten was trapped and she was biting at the bars.

Back flash 6-7 years. Kitten was caught by a volunteer from fix our ferals in East Oakland. She was trapped, spayed, and had her ear clipped. While it was good what they did and I always support the organization, I think it freaked her out.

Flash forward to now. Kitten has been more of a home body since the incident as you will see from the pictures. Enjoy!

4/20 lost kitten comes home.

Kitten did not come home for almost 24 hours. It was quite scary. She came back but had a large scratch on her nose. There are many dangers to having an outdoor cat. We prefer our cats indoors but Kitten has refused to use a litter box.

Kitten finally felt like leaving the house to go pee so here are here pee pee pictures. I wish i had this much fun and beauty when I do number one.

Kitten is a lady, she always checks first to see if anyone is looking.

Shortly after, Kitten came home. She's sleeping on the turn table as I type. Sweet dreams kitten.

April 17th Adventure/Camera testing

So the Camera works! We anticipated crazy Kitten adventures and mostly saw the apartment buildings across the street!



Since kitten was never raised right, she didn't learn not to look directly into the sun.
